Digital Lessons for Kids

BrainPOP: Resources for Supporting Antiracist Education
A list of BrainPOP topics, recommended by grade level and currently free to access, covers activism and the history of racism. Some lessons are also offered in Spanish and French.

Google: Black History and Culture
The Black History and Culture collection from Google Arts and Culture includes an interactive timeline, virtual tours, spotlights on historical figures and links to related speeches, artifacts and video. 

Khan Academy: Black History, Politics and Culture
This collection of Khan Academy videos and articles address Black history in the United States, the history of Africa, African American art and African American trailblazers.

iCivics Impact Points Challenge
iCivics challenges students to play games that explore topics such as activism, voting, the court system and the responsibilities of being a citizen.

PBS Kids: How to Talk Honestly with Children About Racism
This PBS Kids blog post provides resources for parents, including a link to view the full episode of "Arthur Takes a Stand." A list of children's books about race and diversity is also available.

Sesame Street Town Hall
Sesame Workshop partnered with CNN to produce a Town Hall for Kids and Families titled "Coming Together: Standing up for Racism." The show aired on June 6; a link to view the video is available.

Scholastic Book List
Scholastic has compiled a list of 30 books that amplify the voices of Black creators, organized for ages preschool through young adult.

Tinkergarten Resource List
Tinkergarten's blog offers a list of resources to help parents raise anti-racist kids, including suggested websites and experts to follow on social media.
