Code.org is a computer science curriculum that offers courses and video tutorials to teach students how to create apps, animations and games.

  • The App Lab, Web Lab and Play Lab guide students through the process of making their own apps, websites and games
  • Web-based application works on any device; offline activities offer support for students without computer access
  • A dashboard allows teachers to assign standards-aligned lessons and activities and to monitor students' progress

Code.org is free to access. Accounts are not required, but allow a student to save their progress and projects. Special resources for learning at home, including a weekly "Code Break" webinar every Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET, are available here: https://code.org/athome.

All Hour of Code tutorials are translated into more than 50 languages. More information here: https://code.org/educate/curriculum/cs-fundamentals-international
